Nokia 1680 classic: Price does not justify its features
May 4, 2008From second quarter of 2008 onwards, Nokia will be bursting the cell phone market with a series of affordable phones having all the necessary features, which are currently popular amongst the mass. Nokia 1680 classic will be amongst those phones, which can suffice all your requirements at a price that can only be defined with one word, ‘unbelievable’.
Nokia 1680 classic handset will have the traditional candy bar and a sliding body that the manufacturers have always been famous for. It will be available in several colors including black, grey, red and purple. It will be having a user-easy interface along with an additional feature of phone sharing. The camera in the phone will be a VGA one.
The handset is provided with a one touch access to photos and videos. Apart from FM radio enabled with recording, Nokia 1680 classic will also be supplemented with Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, SMS and MMS facilities. It will also be provided with an expanded phonebook.
The cell phone will support Global Positioning Report System (GPRS). Its Lithium ion battery is going to delivers a talk time of 7.5 hours apart from the stand by time of 420 hours. At an unbelievable price tag of $80 (INR 3,200), Nokia 1680 classic will be coming into the scene during the third quarter of this year.
